What is your Sacred Space? It seems that in these increasingly tense times many of us are needing to carve time out for Self Care on the daily. Our job titles, our relationships or lack of relationships, our hobbies, and even our desires can assume so much real estate in our identities, but who are we when we take off all those masks? Who are we when we're alone? When we are in a safe space?

Sacred space - sanctuary - is vital to our integrated well beings. Sacred Space Changes everything...

In wisdom traditions all over the world the practice of building altars is employed to meet these life needs. Altars can be used for rituals, ceremonies, and magical workings, and also utilized to create harmony within the physical, spiritual, and supernatural inner worlds of an individual or home. They have many functions whether you are seeking empowerment, protection, healing, stability, or manifestation.

In this two hour workshop we will discover the history of the Altar. Learn about how to understand and use technology of the Altar. Learn how to dedicate an altar for specific use. Build a collective Altar. Activate the altar through invocation of the four directions. And meditate with our Altar to close.

Participants are asked to bring at least on of the following:

Feathers or Incense
A Candle
A small basin or chalice for water
A crystal or stone
Flowers
Sacred Herbs
